Gary Kelly gave Leeds the lead after fifteen minutes but four minutes into the second half Moore equalized for Tadcaster. For Leeds, in a double Half-Time substitution, Marlon Billy replaced Gary Kelly at Inside Right and Stephen Hill was replaced at Outside Left by Marcus Philpott, but then he too had to be replaced by Steve Tobin in the seventy-fifth minute. Prior to that Andy Couzens had replaced John Gallagher at Left Back after fifty-seven minutes and Alex Byrne had replaced Noel Whelan at Right Back after sixty minutes.
